Add sidebar on the blog archive page

We are looking to add a sidebar to the blog archive page (ie. overall blog page and category archives).
We already have a sidebar on the single post page, but need a sidebar on the archive pages as well.

Please go to Theme Settings > Blog > Blog and you can select layout for blog archive.

Yes, that setting is set to have a right sidebar. However, this setting is only being applied to the single post page, not the archive pages.
