    Hello,

When I click add to cart from the product page nothing gets added to the cart. When I add to cart from a category list for example it works fine.
Can you let me know how to resolve this please.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, if the problem remains, leave the plugins not activated and provide the site admin access to the private area

    Best Regards

I have disabled all plugins (also did an additional test with disabling the plugins that are required by Woodmart), however the issue still persists. When changing to a default theme however it works without any issues.

THe issue only happens from the actual product page, in some cases I noticed that when the cart was empty it works to add one product, but any additional different products would not be added to the cart.

At this point it appears to be an issue with Woodmart. I have currently still left all plugins disabled.

    Hello,

Please make the full backup of your site and update the theme till 4.1, if it does not solve the issue please provide the FTP access as well we shall check deeper.

You can find the instruction on the theme update here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/update-theme-2/

    Best Regards

So, after more testing – it turn out that as we are testing in a non-live environment without SSL. For some reason woodmart does not work without SSL adding an item to the cart (it does work however from the category page) – hope this helps perhaps providing an update for it.
    Thanks

    Hello,

Please, turn off the plugins from Must use and Drop ins categories https://gyazo.com/987ca13fd405bba56e15c4bb17bd3005
And also, check how the add to cart works with the default WordPress theme both on the single and on the catalog pages.

    Kind Regards

Unfortunately these ‘must use plugins’ and drop in plugins cannot be disabled. As I’ve explained in the previous email however, when using SSL the add to cart button does work – just not when browsing from http.

The add to cart functionality works fine from default wordpress theme from both the catalog as the product page. It appears to be an SSL issue on the product page only

At least the cache plugin should be disabled. Then, switch to the default WordPress theme so we can test.

    Thank you

Unfortunately that is handled by wpengine, I cannot.
    All caching is disabled however

By the way, one website can’t be used with SSL and without SSL. The protocol have to be the same for all pages. Please, configure the whole website to SSL or without SSL first. Check your URL settings in the WordPress dashboard.
