Adding a filters sidebar to the search results page

Greetings XTemos team!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season.

I have decided I want to add a filters sidebar to the search results page, with the following filter possibilities:
1. “Manufacturer” attribute
2. Price range ruler
3. Parent category (not including subcategories)

I have configured Dynamic Widgets -> Relevant filter -> Search Page -> Show widget on the search page? -> Yes

But there is no sidebar in the search results. It must be disabled for some reason, and I am having trouble figuring out why. I’d appreciate your assistance with this.

Hello,

After checking your website configuration, the issue is related to the Archive Product Layout settings.

Currently, the search results page is excluded from the archive layout where the sidebar filters are added. Because of this exclusion, the sidebar (and its widgets) cannot appear on the search results page.

Please remove the condition that excludes the Search Results page from the Archive Product Layout

Use the layout for all archive pages, including search results

Once this condition is removed, the filters sidebar will appear correctly on the search results page.

Thanks so much for the prompt reply and useful instructions.

I removed “Exclude -> Shop search results) from the conditions and the sidebar did indeed appear.

But, the sidebar includes all possible filters and options and not just those that are relevant to the search results.
Is there a way to only display the relevant filters and options?

Try to use the custom layout for the search result page from Dashboard > Layouts > Add new and create a layout for the search result page, add a custom sidebar in the layout, and add specific widgets in Appearance > Widgets.
