iamkane1ParticipantI am not sure if I have explained my title correctly.
We are a B2B supplier, and we offer out products to other businesses.
For examplle it would be100 Widgets at £100…..
200 Widgets at £150…..
500 Widgets at £200…..
It would just be a drop down box that the customer selects… The standard setting would be 100 Widgets.
As well as this – I want customers to be able to make addons like GOLD PLATING – if chosen it would add on £20 to the price.. Again another drop down box and the standard setting would be OFF/NO.I know I can set up variable product but I have not seen the option to set prices up like this…
Can you please tell me how I could do this?
I have added in a screen shot of a demo product I have seen, this is how I would evision this product page to look…Attachments:

iamkane1ParticipantI have seen this
https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-product-fields-for-woocommerce/
But i don’t really want to add in 3rd party, as the design will not be in tune with Woodmart…
Do you have your own ways of doing what I want to do??

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
You can do it by using the Groupe products as we did on the demo site as showing in the example screenshot you have shared.
The Grouped product is the Woocommerce functionality and our theme does not influence that.
Woocommerce documentation: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/group-bundle-products-woocommerce/ and https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-products/Best Regards.

iamkane1ParticipantHi, thanks for your reply.
You have linked me to woocomerve, and I appreciate this is not your business, but if you don’t mind me asking.
You have said grouped products is what I need, I have looked into it, but still there are answers missing.
Do I need to create a new product for each quantity offered? So 100 widgets, 200 widgets, 500 widgets, this is 3 unique products???
I want to sell one product, but the customer can choose 3 quantity options, 100, 200 and 500 for example.
Does this makes sense? Or am I not understanding your answer correctly?January 12, 2025 at 5:13 pm #629065
iamkane1ParticipantI have played with grouped products, I can’t see how this is what I need?
Let’s say I have a Spoon… And my cusomer has the option to buy 1 of 3 options.. Either 100 spoons, 300 spoons, or 500 spoons.. And it is a drop down box to select an option… but as standard it is set to 100 spoons, until the customer changes the option….
Does this make sense?January 13, 2025 at 3:29 pm #629300
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Sorry for the early confusion!
• Navigate to the product edit page.
• Create an attribute for quantities (“100, 300, 500”) under the Attributes tab and enable “Used for variations.”
• Add prices for each variation (£100, £150, £200).
Add Add-Ons:
• Use a plugin like WooCommerce Product Add-Ons to create additional fields for extras like GOLD PLATING.
• Set a fixed price for each add-on (£20).Best Regards

iamkane1ParticipantHi. I managed to follow a tutorial on creating global and local attributes.
I managed to add them in, and assign prices to easch attribute but on the front end of the product page when I select an attributre it does not change the price?
Also, you can see above the word ‘compare’ it still has a small box with what looks like quantity selector with plus or minus 1.. This obvioulsy does not need to be there? How can I remove? And why are prices not changing???
I have added link to page in private.Attachments:

iamkane1ParticipantHi.
So I have played (or tried to) with the attributes, I think adding all of these different options, without technically being able to make it look good will be a bad thing for customer experience.
I think I will now keep it very simple… The customer can only choose 1 option… QUANTITY…
And I will just make different products for different attributes like printed collar or gold plated…But I still have an issue and this is on a woodmart level.
I have managed to assign prices to quantity…. but when you change the quantity attribute, the actual price that changes is so small you can’t see it, just under the quantity tab itself.
And the large price range at the top (as it is a variable product) it now states 495 – 995… this is confusing.. is there anywhere to get rid of this variable price indivcator, and instead make it the actual price? As it’s confusing and does not work as good UI/UX.alsos, how do I get rid of the other little quantity tab at the bottom next to ADD TO CART, it has the -/+ next to it, I don’t see the point in this being there..??
Thanks.

iamkane1ParticipantPlease note – I changed the product and link listed above has now changed, see below in private.

iamkane1ParticipantI have been playing about with attributes and variations… I can see how I can make the prices change with different selection of options… BUT..
This seems long winded…
I run another ecom site, it was built by someone 5 years ago, it has a simialr b2b set up, but it is different..For example.. It has a price matrix in the back end…
Let’s say for example I wanted to offer with a metal tag or a cotton tag… Both of them have different values.
metal tag = £0.79 each…. so if i select quantity 300, it automatically changes the price… 300 x £0.79… or if I selected cotton tag and cotton was set at £0.49 per item it would do the maths.. 300 x £0.49. The way this is set up now with these variations is I would have to manually add in prices with combinations of maybe 100 different prices, basically doing all the maths manually… This is too long winded… Is there anyway I can use a price matrix?? I will add link to that webist so you can see how it works.. I have also added in screen shots of the back end of this website to show you how the price matrix table works… Can I do this with Woodmart???

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Try to disable the option “Remove duplicate price for variable product” in Theme Settings -> Shop -> Variable products.
Best Regards
January 14, 2025 at 4:51 pm #629682
iamkane1ParticipantHi, what for??
I just checked and it is set to no…. so it is disabled..Did you get my message about the price matrix like in my other website???
January 15, 2025 at 2:38 am #629785
iamkane1ParticipantHi, well you will be pleased to know I am now going to just focus on the QUANTITY and not all the other options.. To keep it simple…
But I would like to know – is it possible to do it the way I shown you on my older site? With the price matrix??? That might be advanced custom fields but the guy who built it was more of a Dev so he probaby tweaked it more??I still have one question… the prices – for a variable product, the big green price it says a range – in my case $495 to $1295 or something, the actual price is very small, you cant even see it.. it’s bad UX.. can I change this at all??? Get rid of the price range which is on the top, and change it for the actual price, of say 100pc, 300pc etc?? Thatb make sense??? See pic attached..

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
To display the actual variation price on the single product page, please enable the option “Remove duplicate price for variable product” under Theme Settings > Shop > Variable Products. This will update the price displayed after selecting a variation, replacing the price range with the specific variation’s price.
Additionally, if you wish to remove the price range entirely, enable the “Hide ‘to’ price” option. This will hide the higher price for variable products, simplifying the display.
Best Regards

iamkane1ParticipantThanks, that helps.. These two solutions you offer seem to do the same thing??
I have uploaded one last pic for now, this little box with – 1 + seems pointless??? And may cause problems if the customer starts using it? Is it adisable to remove it? If so is it possible??

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please use the below custom CSS code and paste it to Theme Settings >> Custom CSS >> Global CSS section:
.single-product .quantity { display: none; }
Best Regards

iamkane1ParticipantThanks… What is the difference doing it this way conpared to how I did it which I shown above – in theme settings???
Is one way better than the other????
I need to learn CSS..!January 16, 2025 at 2:11 pm #630239
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Both methods achieve the same result. Using CSS provides more flexibility for customization, while the theme settings are easier and more user-friendly. Learning CSS can help you make more advanced adjustments.
Best Regards
