Additional variations images – Where/How is it going to appear?

Dear Support,

I need your help with the following…

I have a product (Hat) in 3 colors.

What should I do if i want,

1. on the Single Product page to show on the side (left) of the product picture, thumbnail images, and below the product image additional variations (or the other way round – it doesn’t matter). The idea behind this is to show the product’s 3 colors + 3 images of a Model that wears the Hat in 2-3 different positions/photo shoots.

2. on the category page when i hover over a product to show 1 of the picture with the Model wearing the Hat.

I hope i haven’t confused you.

Sorry, my mistake while phrasing. It’s not a single product, it’s a product with 3 color variations as mentioned at the beginning of my message. I have read the post you prompted me to look at, but doesn’t answer my question.

Allow me to rephrase,

1 SKU, 3 Colors. On a product page i want to be able to see:
1. e.g below the main image of the product the 3 colors
2. on the side of the image product, e.g. left, to see 3 lifestyle photos i took for each color.
