After update to latest version, error 500 in blog and posts

Hello, i just updated my site to the latest version of woodmart and i now cannot access the blog page.
I also cannot open a single post. I noticed that when i change the single post layout setting to ‘large image’ then the post opens (this is not the layout i had before the update)

Do you have any suggestion what to check or change? All plugins are up to date. I already read similar topics and general info about error 500 but did not find a solution. So please could you check it in more detail?

Another issue: in the w3 validator i get the following:

Error: Element style not allowed as child of element div in this context. (Suppressing further errors from this subtree.)

the problem is create in the information box carousels i have in the home page, where i can see a lot of of empty <style></style>

Is this a bug?How can i remove this tags completely?

After a lot of search i found out that the validator problems disappear if i create the sections from the beginning in the new version of the template…So don’t research the W3 validator problems now.. This means – of course – that i will have to recreate almost the whole site!!!

Thank you for your reply but if i wanted to search the internet for an answer, i could do it myself. I already found this article. Maybe you did not read my problem in detail. The problem started AFTER i updated to the latest version of Woodmart.

I already tried all these solutions (and other i found online) before contacting you. I even reset the .htaccess. Do you have the time to investigate my problem? Someone with your experience in your theme should find this problem rather easily..

Never mind. I found the problem. i had an older version of content.php
