Hi, I would like to have an ajax loading of the subcategory displayed on the title.

It is working fine on the Demo Retail Theme https://prnt.sc/MbIGkxa3Db7q. I just select the subcategory and it loads on the same page.

However, on the Mega Electronic Demo, When I click a subcategory, it takes me to a new subcategory page. https://prnt.sc/UggMRYqKAKpV

How can I keep it on the same page just like Demo Retail Theme?

    Using Elementor.

    Hello,

It’s because you have separate pages for Categories. Please navigate to Dashboard -> Layouts -> Products archive -> leave enabled only this one: https://take.ms/E1gvC

In the meantime, feel free to ask me any questions you may have.

    Kind Regards

I did that, But still it opens on a different page. What is the setting in the first screenshot that it loads on the same page and how can I achieve it in the second screenshot I sent?

Also, when I change the type to Navigation, it works just fine.
https://prnt.sc/3WTqLF3QQ1u9It opens the subcategory products on the same page.

I want this flow to happen with the Grid Type because I want a category slider. Not a dropdown on mobile view.

    Hello,

Is there any chance that you could give me access to the dashboard area so I can have a look at the settings on your website, please?

    Kind Regards

    Hello,

In the element, you have set the “Woocommerce query” type: https://take.ms/iB5P0 . It always shows child categories of a specific category, which is why it doesn’t work the way you want it to.

You need to set the “Custom query” in the “Data source” field so then it should work as you want.

Yes, it works fine that way. But I need the following to happen:

When I open a parent category, it should show subcategories. When I click a subcategory of a parent category, it should open on the same page and not on a different page.

When I do Custom Query in the data source, it does work fine but that way it shows all the categories in the system and not just the subcategories of a parent category I clicked on.

    Hello,

Sorry, but there is no way to make it work in the way as you want with the “Grid” type, unfortunately.

I’d be happy to assist if you have any other questions or concerns.

    Kind Regards
