We’re trying to set up attribute swatches to show product variant images on a webshop.
I think we must be doing something wrong, because the functionality works – if we set the grid swatch attribute to be “Size” instead of “Colour”.
I’ve included screenshots and login credentials for the site.

konsulenthusetproviParticipantConfirmed this works on the product’s own page thank you 🙂
But it still does not work on the archive.We have set everything up as required in the documentation, including setting an image for the color attribute even if this isn’t the one in use. We’ve also set an image for all variants.
I’ve also confirmed that it isn’t a cookie issue by accessing the site with a new browser.

I’ve attached links to the active attributes in the private info.
If something is still set incorrectly, please do let us know.

Please update the new version of the theme “WOODMART WordPress NEW: 8.1 RELEASED”, update the required plugin, and check the issue: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/update-the-theme/
If the issue remains, turn off all of the plugins not related to the theme, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.
If the issue still remains, let me know and I will check and give you a possible solution.

Can confirm this still doesn’t work after doing the following:
– Updating to 8.1
– Uninstalling every plugin except Elementor, WooCommerce and LiteSpeed and clearing the cache. We tried disabling LiteSpeed too after turning off the cache.
– While the plugins are off, swapping to the main theme instead of our child theme.Still the same specific issue where the category images work on the product page itself, not on the archive.

We ended up figuring it out.
Changing the Additional Variation Images storage method to “Variations Product Meta” and running some code to re-assign all the images ended up resolving the issue for us.
