Attributes are not in sequence

Hello, this is probably a common question, I’ve set an attribute for
Size using “Custom Ordering like so” 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, XS, S, M, L, XXL, 3XL, 4XL.

when I add a product and input the sizes they show up as 10, 12, 14, 6, 8
And L S XS XXL

I cannot drag and move each attribute when I edit products because they are greyed out. can someone please help me with this. I need the sizes to be in the right order

The attributes are controlled by woocommerce and our theme doesn’t influence.
