Avoid an excessive DOM size

Hello my pagespeed score is very low, and the website it self is slow I did a google page speed test and other tests,the results showed that its related to the theme, Avoid an excessive DOM size and other unused CSS, any way to solve this or minimize it? am using WP super cache.
