Basel: navigation menu + filter does not work

unfortunately I had some family problems and I had to be away for so long. For this I ask you to kindly help me to solve some things.
1) I have a problem in the navigation menu: I want to show only the main categories in the submenus (and not even the subcategories) in the shop page, when I’m in a macro category. how can I set the main navigation bar as the page “Our shop”, also in the pages of each category?

Hello,

1. Try to switch option “Show current category ancestors” in Theme Settings -> Shop -> Shop page layout.

2. Try to delete this page and slider and import it again. Also, be sure that you have updated all plugins and the theme.

3. Update WooCommerce and our theme to the latest version.

4. You can turn on this option in Theme Settings -> General -> Search by product SKU

5. It means that you need to update theme to the latest 3.1.1 version.

as I have already told you, I did the upload of the latest version of your theme (this morning) and the latest version of WooCommerce namely 3.0.1, as I already specified, but the problems still remain.

I will also confirm that all the plugins has been updated.

yes, I’m sure that the upgrade has been done.

1) The option that you suggest was already set to “Show current category ancestors” but the navigation menu is still displayed in the same way. What I have to do?

I have deleted and re-added to the widget Woocommerce Basel Layered Nav, I have not added your code yet. Fortunately the alert no longer appears but the filter does not work yet.
If I choose a color, for example “rosa neon”, the filter should show only one item as it is only a product that matches the search, but the page loads all entered products (68). See the screenshots.

ps: I ask you to excuse me if I do this stupid question, but you can tell me where I have to add your code? can I add a command through the theme settings, or I have to add it to functions.php file?

If the error is gone then you don’t need to do any changes in the code. Could you please check how default WooCommerce layered nav widget works? Our theme is based on WooCommerce default functions and it can’t be caused by it.
