Basel Theme update

SmotParticipantHi there,
I tried to update the theme but I had serious problems.
These my steps:1) I changed the theme in Apparence > Theme
2) I deleted BASEL theme and BASEL theme child
3) I uploaded both new theme filesAfter, my website is completely different, colors, the logo image. My css modifications disappeared. (see the pic after the update)
What did I wrong?Please help me.

I do hope you have made the backup before the update. Please restore your site. If you have not made the update, please contact your host support perhaps they make automatic backups and can help you restore the site.
As soon as your site has been restored, please follow this instruction to update the parent theme only. Never update or delete the child theme: https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/update-theme/

I tried to update again the theme (not child theme) but my website change completely.
Colors, logo and the colors of the variable products are disappeared.
What do I wrong?

Please restore your site from the backup. Then find the parent theme in Appearance > Themes > press “Update”. Did you do it that way?

SmotParticipantHi, yes I did in that way but it doesn’t work. I Am trying in a staging area (I duplicated the website in another place) but I don’t know what I can do

Please restore the site from the backup and follow the steps:
Please deactivate and delete CMB2 and Redux framework.
Make the export of the Theme Settings in the Theme Settings > Export / Import.
Deactivate the plugins not related to the theme,
Update the theme,
Update all the plugins related to the theme.
Then activate your rest plugins.
