    Hello WoodMart Support Team,
I am seeking your expert guidance on the optimal performance setup for my website.
    Here is my environment:
    Theme: WoodMart (latest version)
Hosting: Hostinger (which uses a LiteSpeed Web Server)
Caching Plugin: The official LiteSpeed Cache plugin
I have noticed in the latest versions of WoodMart, the WoodMart > Performance panel has evolved. It now focuses on intelligent and selective script loading (“load only scripts that are required”) and no longer has a simple “Combine JS/CSS” toggle.
Given this, my question is about the best practice for combining and minifying files:
Should I use the LiteSpeed Cache plugin to handle the combining and minifying of JS and CSS files, letting it optimize the “smart list” of files provided by WoodMart?
My current strategy is to set the following options to ON within the LiteSpeed Cache plugin settings:
    Minify CSS & JS
    Combine CSS & JS
    Defer JS
Could you please confirm if this is the recommended best practice for achieving optimal performance with this setup? Or is there a different approach you would advise?
Thank you for your clarification and for your excellent theme.
    Best regards,

In any case, you need to use the Cache plugin, which provides the functionality for combining.

Here is an article with the best practices – https://xtemos.com/wordpress-performance-optimization-the-ultimate-guide-in-2021/

    Hello dear Woodmart Support,

    Thank you for your reply.

However, I find the answer a bit too general and it doesn’t really address my specific question. I’ve already read your documentation and carefully followed the instructions — including the guide you previously sent me — but I did not find a solution to the problems I’m encountering.

Could you please provide more technical details or investigate the exact cause of the issues I mentioned? This would help me a lot to resolve it effectively.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

    Best regards,
    Cédric M.

We have removed those options in Performance, because our files are connected when needed. By default, all files are minified. This option (minify) you need to use when one of the plugins does not have minimized files.

    Kind Regards

    Hello dear support,

I’m gradually progressing with the optimization of my website using LiteSpeed Cache.
I’ve read your documentation several times and am following your recommendations step by step to avoid any issues.

Attached (or below), you’ll find my current LiteSpeed Cache configuration, so you can clearly see what is currently enabled and what’s still being tested.

Important note: as you’ll see in my setup, I haven’t enabled JavaScript combination at this stage.
Would you recommend activating this option, or should I leave it disabled in my current context?

    Issue with the HTML Block:
I’ve added a HTML Block on several category pages to display a short description, and I’ve used your guide to include a Read more button.
However, on mobile devices, the feature is not working correctly:

    The hidden content is always expanded, instead of partially hidden by default;

    The block’s content overlaps the product grid, making the page hard to read;

Sometimes, the button appears grey instead of green, despite the intended styling.

I’m also sharing access to a clone of my live site so you can inspect the issue directly — please proceed with care as always.

Please escalate this ticket to an optimization expert, as it’s very important for me to receive accurate and advanced advice tailored to my current configuration.

Thanks again for your valuable help.

    Best regards,
    Cédric M.

Hello, I’m having trouble sharing my exported LiteSpeed Cache configuration file with you directly. Here’s a Google Drive link instead: [insert your link]. If there’s a better way to send you my config next time, please let me know. Thank you!

    1. You can avoid enabling the Combine JS option and we do not recommend enabling it.

    2. You need to increase the Column content height value here – https://take.ms/hFsM8 , then the button should be shown.

If you have any additional questions, let me know.

    Kind Regards

I’ve carefully followed your instructions and read the guide you provided. I have tested the setup thoroughly, but adjusting the height using the slider has absolutely no effect.

Whether I set the height to 100px, 300px, or 0px, nothing changes on the front-end. The block either remains fully expanded or gets stuck, making the mobile display broken and negatively impacting the user experience.
I have cleared all caches, disabled LiteSpeed object cache, and tested on my cloned site using the exact same configuration—the issue remains.

It is clear that this is not a mistake in my implementation, but a real malfunction—either in the HTML Block itself or in how it interacts with caching or other components.

Please help me identify what is causing this problem, as I cannot finalize my category pages with such unstable behavior.
I’m sharing my admin access (see Private Content) along with the link to the affected page and the HTML Block in question.

    Request Summary (EN) :
You’ll see when testing live in Elementor Pro: if you try adjusting the height of the hidden or visible text block using the provided height slider, nothing happens.

From my side, there is no visible change at all, even after clicking “Save”.
The text stays exactly the same, and I can’t control or define the desired height of the hidden content.
It really looks like the entire feature is non-functional.
