Bilingual site. Menu problem.

Good day. I have a problem. My site is in 2 languages – Ukrainian and Russian. The main language is Ukrainian. I’m using the Polylang plugin. The WPML plugin is too heavy for my hosting and it is more comfortable for us to use the Polylang plugin. My problem is with the drop down menu on the site on the left and with the menu in the mobile version. When I choose the Russian language of the site and start using the menu, it (the menu) automatically switches to the Ukrainian language. There is no such problem with the website pages. Only the menu itself switches languages independently. Can you help? Thank you.

It seems to me that the problem with the translation and the fact that the menu quickly hides are somehow related. I think there is some problem with the menu. Maybe I’m wrong.

I have a problem with the categories menu. I need subcategories to open when hovering over a category. They open, but quickly hide, I don’t have time to move the mouse to the chio subcategory to open it. Sometimes it turns out to have time to hit a subcategory, but more often subcategories are quickly hidden. In the settings, I have chosen to open a list of subcategories on hover. I don’t like opening a list of subcategories on click. Can you tell me how to make this menu not hide so quickly?

Perhaps these two problems are not related. But it is surprising that all the difficulties are with the menu. I will be grateful for any help.

I see that translations work well, here are a few screenshots: https://take.ms/zTGA9 , https://take.ms/4Ovo1 . As we can see, dropdowns are translated into the Russian language. So if you still see Ukrainians dropdowns, please clear the browser cache and recheck the issue.

I see the issue with quickly hiding, Please confirm the permission for plugins deactivation, and switching to the parent. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable all back.

There is a problem with the language, when I turn on the Russian language, then I open any page of the site, and after that, as I hover over the menu, the language has already switched to Ukrainian by itself. I recorded a video to show it better.

For the problem of the menu that quickly disappeared – your advice helped, I changed the design type of the menu item to “default” and everything began to work well. There was only a problem with one menu item (accessories) – for some reason the changes are not saved. I select the default design, save, but the changes are not saved.
