Brand Carousel widget not filter brands in current category page

Hello, I have created a layout template for the top level product category page. On this page I have inserted the brand widget and enabled the “Filter in current category” option. Unfortunately, however, all brands are displayed and not just those associated with the current category. Is it possible to manage this functionality?
I’d like to show only the brand logos associated with the current category.

Sorry to say but right now there is no option in Theme Settings available for that. It requires Customization and this is beyond our limitations and support policy scope. Hope you can understand our limitations.
