How can I get the bottom Brand Filter on the categories pages to only display brands under the current category?

Hello,

The Brands that you mentioned which are appearing on the Prefooter area of the Site. These Brands are coming through a HTML Block added on your Site under the Dashboard > HTML Blocks > there you can find the Block named as Prefooter > edit it with Page Builder > then under that Block you will find the Brands widget > in that Brands widget, you will find the option of Filter in current category > enable that and then the Brands there will work accordingly like you mentioned i.e. brands under the current category:
