Golden1ParticipantI was following the steps in the ‘performance optimization guide 2022’ found here: https://xtemos.com/wordpress-performance-optimization-the-ultimate-guide-in-2021/
i’m not sure what happended, but suddenly the brand icon is appearing huge on the single product page. Please see screenshot.
I have tried to backtrack my steps from the optimization guide to no success.
I have now turned OFF ‘light boot strap grid version’ option in Theme Options>Performance>CSS
and
turned OFF ‘Disable Gutenberg styles’ in Theme Options>Performance>CSS
neither has fixed the issue.
Any ideas?

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
I would like to request temporary admin access to the live site to take a better look at the issue there. Also, please attach the link to the page where the issue appeared.
I await your response.

Golden1ParticipantAlright, here you go.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Your brand images come through the third-party plugin, you should check this issue with the default theme (e.g Storefront) to make sure whether the issue is with our theme or not.
Kind Regards

Golden1ParticipantYes confirmed that issue is with theme, do not have the same problem on Storefront theme.
Besides the brand logos are all 200×100 pixels, some theme setting is causing them to display super large and pixelated.
Again, this issue occurred after following the steps listed in the Xtemos tutorial exactly.
Turning OFF ‘light boot strap grid version’ option in Theme Options>Performance>CSS does seem to cause the image to go from blurry to a little bit more clear, so I’m guessing it has something to do with that…

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Please navigate to Theme Settings -> Performance -> Lazy loading -> disable the “Lazy loading for images” option.
Keep me informed of any issues.
Kind Regards

Golden1ParticipantThat seemed to fix it!
However now a new problem has appeared, the icons in my menu are appearing distorted, please see screenshot.
Could this be something related to Theme Settings>Performance>Fonts & Icons?

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
You still have the “lazy loading” for the images, most likely it comes from the “WP rocket” plugin so navigate to the settings of it and disable this option (check the below screenshot).
After that, check the images again.
Kind Regards

Golden1ParticipantHello, I tired that but the icons in our menu are still appearing distorted.
I also cleared cache from WP Rocket and flushed dynamic cache on hosting side too.
No fix yet

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
After looking into the situation, I found that the “Imagify” plugin also adds the “lazy load” functionality, so after deactivating it, the images started appearing well.

If there’s anything else we can do, please get in touch.
