Brands options

Hello,

With brands enabled, we have 2 requests from our customer:

1.- Depending on the device the web are displayed, especially depending on the width, and taking into account that we only have 6 product categories, in case the width is greater it repeats some categories, that is, the icon of some category appears in more of an occasion. Our client wants only one of each category to appear.

2.- In devices such as smartphones, only 2 categories appears, in consecuence users that don’t the web properly never see all the categories, it’s possible to enable an autoply or something similar.

I have attached 2 images to clear our problem.

Image 1.jpg, it’s a screenshot with notes of the web in a desktop pc, we have 6 categories of product, in this desktop pc shows 7 categories, the 6 we have and 1 more that obviously is repeated. Our customer has requested us only to display the 6 categories with no repeating.

Image 2.jpg, it’s and screenshot from a smartphone, there are displayed only 2 categories. Our customer requested us for an autoplay to show the 6 categories as a slider or somehting similar, and argues it by saying that if a visitor who does not know the web very well doesn’t know that he can swipe with his finger, and he’ll think that there are only 2 categories.

1) You need to disable option Slider loop and brands will no longer be duplicated.

I supose the options you say are when adding from Bakery element, but in my case I installed the Electronics 2 variation of your theme, and in several pages appears Brands automatically, so where I’ll have to deactivate first and the add as Bakery element?.

So if I disable Brand attribute in Theme Options > Shop > Brands I get this error:

You must select your brand attribute in Theme Settings -> Shop -> Brands
