    Hello,

we have noticed an irritating behavior of the Layered Nav widget:

    We only ever have
    a) categories with subcategories or
    b) categories that contain products in our store
    – but never both. So products are always in categories of the last/lowest level.

    Therefore, the following is set:
“Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog > Category display: Show subcategories”.

Nevertheless, when calling categories that contain only categories, Woodmart’s Layered Nav widgets are displayed – with all properties of all products from the subcategories. And as soon as a filter is activated, the subcategories are no longer displayed, but the corresponding filtered products from the subcategories.

It would make sense here to query that Layered Nav Widgets are not displayed if
    a) the category contains subcategories and
    b) WooCommerce is set to show only subcategories in this case.

Is it possible to change this behavior within a next update?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

Thank you very much for choosing our theme and for contacting us.

You describe the functionality of Woocommerce and WoodMart does not influence that. WoodMart layered nav widget is based in Woocommerce attribute filter with a few options to change the view and chose the category were to show the filter.

Please check the options on the Storefront theme with the Woocommerce default widgets and specify the difference between Storefront with Woocommerce filter widget and WoodMart layered nav widget.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards
