Can custom text be added to check out pages?

I don’t know if this is something that can be changed in Woodmart, or Woo Commerce, or where?!

I will attach an image of what I am looking for.

Basically, I want to get text added to the check out page, before the customer actually checks out, that specifically spells out our shipping/processing times.

We processed a lot of orders for the holidays, and more than one person didn’t read our FAQ or Terms & Conditions pages, and somehow thought their purchases were going to arrive in time for Xmas (when they ordered last minute, last weekend!)

The red text, on the attached image, is what I would like to get added, on the check out page, before they start the payment process.

Can this be done?

You can customize the cart page in the file woocommerce/cart/cart.php.

I assume then, that after every theme update in the future, we will have to replace the info again, because it will get overwritten?

You can copy this file to the exact same location in the child theme and then your changes will not be overridden.
