Can’t add a specific product in Frequently Bought Together !

    Hi.
    I can’t add a specific product in Frequently Bought Together Bundle !
    I copy and paste the product tilte to search it when I add a new row , but it says “No results found” !!!

    Any ideas ?

    Sorry to hear about the inconvenience but we have confirmed from the Test Site, the Product selection in FBT is working fine. Can you please share valid WP-ADMIN Login details of your Site in the below listed format on which you are facing the issue so that we can proceed further and check the issue on your Site and assist you accordingly. Also, please share the exact Product URL too on which you are trying to add the Frequently Bought Together.

    Sorry to say but your provided WP-ADMIN Login details are not Super Admin ones so we are unable to access the Dashboard, Themes, or Plugins area. Hence, we are unable to proceed further. So, can you please update these Logins to Super Admin so that we can proceed further and check the issue on your Site and assist you accordingly? Also, please take a complete Backup of your Site too.

    Hello,

    We tried to create a Test Product on your Site and then tried to add it in a new Bundle by adding it’s full name > and it showing fine to select: https://ibb.co/4tvsKf0

    Although, we deleted the Product as your Site is Live.

    So, there are two possibilities in this regard. Either the name of the Product is in another Language so the automatic Product selector under the dropdown isn’t picking that up or some third party plugin might be conflicting. Because we suppose the Product itself doesn’t have any sort of issues, right?

    So, can you please provide a Staging Site with the WP-ADMIN Login details having the same issue so that we further check this issue there with deactivation of third party Plugins and removal of on-Site Customization to get better idea of the issue because on our Test Site, we aren’t facing such issue.

    Hello,

    We are seeing the issue on your Site like you mentioned that if we are adding the complete name of your Product directly under the dropdown selector, it is showing result not found but to confirm it more on our Test Site, we created a Product with the exact name that you have on your Site for the Product.     Then we tried to copy the whole name as it is added and then try to search it under the FBT and it was showing fine: https://ibb.co/dDjjWmp

    So, this clears the fact that it is not a Theme-end issue.

    So, now to check this on your Site we didn’t proceed further because you said it is a Live Site. So, that’s why we asked you for a Staging Site if possible so that we can thoroughly check this issue on that by deactivating third party Plugins and other things possible.

    I really don’t know what’s going on here.
    I have DELETED the bundle from the Products->Frequently bought together , but the element and the bundle still remains in the products page !!!

    (i have trying disactivating all not necessary plugins , but the issue remains)

    And I can’t add to bundles almost every product I have tried, except the new ones !

    Sorry for all the inconvenience caused.

    Right now, we have turned off the Frequently Bought Together on your Site under the Theme Settings > Shop > and now the FBT’s don’t show on your Products.

    According to your mentioned concern regarding this, there are some confusions for which we can’t seem to understand correctly.

    Can you please first confirm if you want to use the FBT on your Site or not?

    If yes and you are facing an issue using the FBT, then kindly if possible please provide a detailed Video of the concerned issue regarding using the FBT so that we can better understand at the first place and then assist you accordingly.

    Yes , I want to use FBT and when I saw that feature in 7.0.3 version I was excited !

    But it definetely doesn’t work smooth !

    I can’t add any product (except some recent new products added) !

    First of all I have to say that YES most of my products are in Greek language.

    Well , I have found something…

    I copy the full product name (like I show in the video) and then paste it in the row where the FBT searches for the item to add it in the bundle.
    Initially , it says “Item not found”
    After that, I start to delete letter by letter from the end of the name to the start.
    WHEN I DELETE SOME CHARACTERS LIKE “-” OR “&” OR ” ‘ ” THEN THE ITEM APPERARS IN THE SEARCH RESULTS !!! (most of them actually)

    You definetelly have to make a fix for this !.

    You are absolutely RIGHT Artem !

    When I copy-paste the item’s name and search it in All Products , no results can be found !!!
    Also, when I paste the item’s name in the search box of the home page there is another strange behaviour. It gets a result and then jumps AUTOMATICALLY to the products single page , without waiting for the user to press on the search result to select it (it shouldn’t be like this) .

    Hello,

    It is how it works with any theme. When there is only one search result – it redirects you right to this product page. It is a WooCommerce feature.

    It doesn’t show results for these “problematic”items even in All Products search as you suggested to try.

    Hello,

    If these products can’t be found by the WooCommerce search form then there is some bug in WooCommerce itself.

    As for the second product, it doesn’t have any bundles added at the moment.

    It would be a usefull improvement if you could allow us to add a product to the bundle also by it’s SKU (not only by it’s name).
