Category Descriptions….? How to hide but keep its SEO benefits…?

I am adding in description in categories for SEO benefits, but it is too much on the category screen.
I could of course shortern the description but I want that SEO juice.
Maybe for the UX best to hide it, but 1. Can I do this in your theme easily? and 2. If I do will I still be able to retain SEO juice?

SOLVED – I just kept the description short to 2 lines.
