marketingdigital-5837ParticipantHello, Xtemos team,
I’m using the WoodMart theme with the MegaMarket template for the redesign of our online store. Currently, I’m setting up the categories and I would like to replicate the design shown in your demo, specifically on this link:
https://woodmart.xtemos.com/megamarket/product-category/plumbing/
This is exactly what I want to achieve:
Display subcategories:
I want that when accessing a main category, all subcategories appear automatically, showing their images, names, and product count, just like in your demo.
Clean and spacious design:
I’d like the layout to be elegant, with well-distributed spaces, exactly as it looks in the MegaMarket template. Currently, when configuring through Appearance > Customize, the result is not as aesthetic or organized as in your demo.
SEO text at the bottom:
I also want a section at the bottom of each category page to add SEO-optimized text, both for main categories and subcategories, just like in your demo.
Consistent subcategory design:
When clicking on a subcategory, I want to keep the same layout: neatly displayed products, SEO text at the bottom, and if there are more levels (sub-subcategories), they should also be displayed automatically as shown in your demo.
I’ve been reviewing the customization options and settings, but I can’t manage to replicate that exact design. Could you please guide me on how to configure the store so it looks and works just like your MegaMarket demo?
Additionally, I have a question regarding the HTML Blocks used in the mega menu.
I’m reusing the default HTML Blocks from the template, but when trying to link them to the correct categories, I can’t find the proper way to do it. I noticed that in some cases, the links don’t lead directly to the intended category, even after setting the slugs correctly in WooCommerce.
Could you please guide me on how to properly link the HTML Blocks in the mega menu to the specific store categories? I’d like to know the correct method to ensure that each block directs users to the right category, just like in your demo.
Thank you very much for your help. I look forward to your response.
Best regards,

Hung PhamKeymasterHi marketingdigital-5837,
Thanks for reaching to us and appreciate your patience.
The demo you are referring to that is using a Custom Product layout, you can create a dev site and import any template there. Devsite – also called a Staging platform where you can test issues, enable/disable features/plugins thus such changes will affect the main site. The below article will help you to create it:
https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/
Then navigate to Layouts > Edit single product layout with the page builder which you are using and edit this section. More, with the help of the import functionality of Elementor you can export the template, more detail is here: https://elementor.com/help/template-library/
Best Regards,

marketingdigital-5837ParticipantDear Xtemos team,
Thank you very much for your previous help and for the tools you provide with Woodmart.
We are currently working on a custom product archive layout, inspired by the “Plumbing” demo from Megamarket, and although we’ve managed to apply part of the layout successfully, we are encountering several serious difficulties that are making it very hard to continue working with the theme.
We are trying our best to follow the documentation and your previous instructions, but the experience is becoming very frustrating. Honestly, we feel a bit stuck.
Let me explain what’s going on:
The layout we’ve built works well on the frontend, but inside Elementor (backend), the design looks completely different, broken, and confusing. It doesn’t match what we’ve configured, which makes editing and customizing a very slow and uncertain process.
There are still some product categories left to define by adding images and text (that’s why they currently appear like this in the template).
The most important issue is that one product is showing next to the subcategories, instead of having all subcategories in a full row and the products displayed below, like in your “Plumbing” or “Flooring” demos.
We’ve also noticed that typography styles (such as font color) cannot be changed through Elementor or even with custom CSS. It seems that the global theme styles are overriding any change we try to apply.
In addition, the “Return to shop” button redirects to a general shop layout that doesn’t use the custom design we’ve worked on. We’d like to either change the redirect or make sure it keeps our current layout.
We’ve already disabled all other product archive layouts, and we are editing the one assigned in WooCommerce > Product catalog. But still, we believe that another layout or global style is interfering, and we don’t know where to look.
We’re currently working on a staging clone, and the site is under maintenance. We’re uploading categories step by step and want to make sure everything works correctly before publishing.
That’s why we kindly ask for clear and specific instructions to ensure the layout behaves as expected, especially with subcategories, products positioning, typography, and global layout conflicts.
We truly appreciate your support and really hope you can help us solve this. At this point, it’s becoming extremely difficult to work with the theme and we’re worried about the time we’re losing.
Thank you again for your attention and support.
Kind regards,
