I am trying to change the home page to the shop page. Additionally, how do you remove the basel logo?

Hello,

The Basel logo is removed in the Theme Settings > Header > Logo.

You can make one and the same page as the home page and the shop page, assign the shop page to be the home page. Avoid adding any content to the shop page this is a functional Woocommerce page. You can set the shop page as the home page in Dashboard > Settings > Reading.
