Change Category Product Count based on Attribute

I would like to know if it is possible to filter the products found in a category based on an attribute?

E.g. I have categories of different types of clothing items and I have attributes called sizes. If I select Medium as a size attribute on the left shop filter it correctly shows the products however the category count of products in each category remain the same.

I would want that if I have 20 t-shirts and 3 are Medium that if I select Medium as an attribute that the category filter would update to only show 3.

Is this possible?

You can use WOODMART WooCommerce Layered Nav in the Shop page widger area in Appearance > widgets. This attribute filter allows setting categories/categories where this filter would be applied. And it would take medium t-shorts from a certain category, not from all the shops.

The filtering results would depend on what attributes you have added to the products.

This is the way Woocommerce Product Categories work. They show the total amount of the main category and sub-categories.
