SergioParticipantI’ve already installed the theme with elementor, created the child theme etc… I just wanted to test elementor but I prefer Bakery Composer. Everything in a staging.
I also installed the dummy content but I can erase it as I don’t need them right now.
I’ve erased the theme, uninstall the plugins … and tried to reinstall Woodmart but wizard doesn’t show up and elementor keeps appearing… I’ve also tried to use wp reset plugin but it didn’t work either.
How can I install woordmart with bakery composer?

You can try resetting your Site first using the WP Reset plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-reset/
Then you can install the WoodMart Theme on your Site following the mentioned process in the Documentation link: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/installation-process/
During the setup wizard, choose WPBakery Page Builder instead of Elementor. After that, go to WoodMart > Prebuilt Websites and import a demo that is built with WPBakery.
Please note that switching builders requires recreating your pages/content, because Elementor and WPBakery use different structures.

SergioParticipantHi Aizaz,
Thanks for your answer but I already tried these steps (already red them in a different post).
I’m talking about Woodmart and the link you’re sending me about installation is the Basel theme (real link is https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/installation-process-3/)
Also, as per my previous indications, I’ve already tried to reset my site using the reset plugin you mentioned and it didn’t work. Maybe I’m not using the proper plugin configuration? If you could help me on this I’ll appreciate it very much.
Thank you very much Aizaz. I’m sure that with your help I’ll be able to make it!

June 24, 2026 at 1:22 pm #722344Hello,
Navigate to Plugins > Installed Plugins and deactivate/delete the Elementor plugin.
After that, log in to your account on our website and download the WPBakery Page Builder plugin and add and activate the plugin.
https://xtemos.com/my-account/Once WPBakery is installed and activated, you will be able to work with WPBakery-based content and import the demo into WPBakery content.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
Best Regards

SergioParticipantFirst: Make a staging with your actual content and work from there just in case.
Here are the steps I followed that worked for me (though be careful, as this might mess up the configuration of plugins not associated with the theme and the pages you created might dissapear):
1- Uninstall all theme-related plugins.
2- Install the WP Reset plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-reset/
3- Inside the WP Reset plugin, under the “Reset” tab and the final option “Reset system,” leave only “Reactivate WP Reset plugin” checked (do not select the theme or other plugins; this will deactivate all plugins).
4- After doing that, the setup wizard appeared when I accessed the theme and then followed the steps: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/installation-process-3/If, like me, you just wanted to try out Elementor but later decided to switch back to Bakery, this way it worked for me.
Ah…Remember that anything you created with Elementor will need to be rebuilt from scratch in Bakery, and you will have to reconfigure your previously installed plugins; so, if a plugin has an “import/export” feature, export your settings to create a backup and import them later (or simply take screenshots of your previous settings, etc.)

June 25, 2026 at 2:50 pm #722462Hello,
Thank you for sharing the steps that worked for you and for taking the time to post the detailed explanation.
I’m glad you were able to resolve the issue and get the setup wizard working again. Your instructions will certainly be helpful for other users who want to switch from Elementor back to WPBakery on a staging site.Thank you as well for highlighting the importance of creating a backup/staging environment before performing a reset, as well as noting that Elementor content cannot be automatically converted to WPBakery.
Best Regards
