CHANGE "SELECT AND OPTION" TO VARIATION TITLE "SIZE" OR "COLOR"

I would like to change the “select an option” to the title of the variation/attribute. So if the product has different sizes, I would want the first option of the drop down menu for sizes to say “Size” instead of “select an option”. And if the product has different colors, I would want the first option of the drop down menu for sizes to say “Color” instead of “Select an Option”.

The default WooCommerce does not have such an option. And no WordPress theme could influence this.
