You can edit and configure the WP bakery Product category element, however, sub-categories displayed by Woocommerce functionality on the category page are not edited.

How come. Your theme suppose to control all display functionality.
If it is not in your settings please send a custom code that display it in the way referred in video

These categories relate to the Woocommerce plugin. Our theme support does not cover customization of Woocommerce plugin, sometimes we can suggest a custom CSS for minor changes, however, this issue requires complicated modification.

Try to set the same design for categories in the Product category element and in the Theme Settings > Shop https://gyazo.com/d1b8239d722eb1f7521139e343bbb577

Both categories and sub-categories would have the same design.
