Change the atributes from a dropdown list to buttons

Hello,

i would like to change the dropdown list to buttons but i’m not having succes with it.could you point me in the right direction? so the Materiaal & Formaat should be text buttons instead of a dropdown menu. if possible also in the categories list options. My shop is populated trough an API so changing things on a product level is not possible/desirable

You can use color swatches instead of drop down to display the available options. Woodmart theme has an option to use color and image swatches for product attributes.
