“Categories” menu in the header builder

1. When you rename your menu in appearnce>menus, it gets deselected from the header builder options
2. Please allow us to change the text “Browse Categories” when adding category menu to the navbar
3. On the responsive menu, when editing “Mobile menu settings” tick “Show categories menu” we should be able to change “Categories” text here as well.

We suggest you to keep translated files in wp-content/languages/themes/woodmart-pt_PT.po folder.

As for the first point: sure, if you have changed the menu title it would not be picked up by the Mobile element as it would search the menu which you have set in the element. It is way it works and it cannot be changed.

1. This is not a case of just rewriting the text in PO file. You should add this as a user text field value to help improve the theme and allow maximum customisation here. It is a very bad suggestion to use PO files for this instance.

Plus we don’t want to install the slow and resource-heavy loco translate plugin one this site.

Such service is not covered by our support, you will have to find a developer to customize the theme as you need.
You can install Loco Translate, rewrite all you need and then delete the plugin. If you change anything in code, everything would be lost after each theme update, that is why Loco Translate is the best way to change the theme wording as per your needs.

I am making suggestion to improve the theme. Why would you not want to take one of your customers advice to make the them better? Please tell the person who makes the decision to add such feature to the Core theme. I’m sure many other users will want to change this text.
