Hi, recently downloaded the woodmart theme, installed the child theme (organic demo).

I’m simply trying to change an icon in style.css of the child theme but my changes have zero effect. The same CSS works fine if I add to customise through theme menu, but I want to use style.css for any edits.

What do I need to do to get the child theme to work please?

    Hello,

Thank you very much for choosing our theme and for contacting us.

You need to add the code to the Theme Settings > Custom CSS > appropriate device type

    Best Regards

    Hi Elise,

The theme is great so far!

So what is style.css in the child theme for then? I know that works but I’d rather use the stylesheet in my own editor than editing in my browser.

    Hello,

Style.css is the functional file allowing to create a child theme. Do not insert any code there, You need to add the code to the Theme Settings > Custom CSS > appropriate device type
