Checkout page endless spinning

Hello,

When i have 2-5 products, low quantity, checkout page succeed but when i hv 20 – 30 products, checkout page starting endless spinning when i click on “Place Order” and in console i have the following error:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 504 ()

Please check the issue on one of the default themes to understand if our theme causes the problem
