Hi WoodMart team,
Due to some misoperations (such as deleting elements and causing layout issues), I decided to completely reinstall the WoodMart theme and re-import a demo to start fresh.
However, after doing this, I encountered two main issues:
Issue 1: Child Theme Missing
After reinstalling, I noticed that the child theme is no longer available under Appearance → Themes. Only the parent theme is listed.
Unfortunately, I didn’t back up the child theme before reinstalling, and I’m not sure if I had made any edits to files like functions.php or custom CSS.
Could you please help with the following:
How can I reinstall or restore the child theme properly?
If I reinstall the child theme now, will it retain any previous customization I might have done?
Is there an official child theme zip file I can download and install?
Issue 2: Demo Content Not Fully Restored
After reinstalling the theme, I tried to re-import one of the demo templates. However, I noticed:
The page structure and content did not fully restore to the original demo appearance
Some sections seem to be missing or broken, possibly due to content I deleted before reinstalling
The homepage layout especially looks incomplete or incorrect
I assumed that re-importing the demo would fully reset the design, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Could you please advise:
Is there a recommended way to completely reset the site and get a clean, full demo import?
Do I need to manually delete old pages or database entries before re-importing a demo?
