close Header Banner when clicked

Hi,

I set up a header banner including a link redirecting to another page of the site. But it reopens on the link page. Is there an option available to not reopen the banner when clicked?

Please provide your site admin access to the private area. What should happen when I press the link in the deader banner? Link always leads to the URL it contains.

If you do not want to remove the link, add this custom code to the Theme settings > Custom CSS > Global:

Sorry, I think I’m not clear enough.
I want to keep this link that redirects to the linked page I added in the field (which is fine) BUT when customers press on the header bar and are redirected to this linked page, I would like this banner to not reopen. Is this possible?

– If Banner version’s value is set on 1 and is closed during a visit, how long before the visitor sees it again? The next day or never again?

– What is the maximum banner version value I can set?

The banner would appear as soon as the page has been reloaded.

Please consider the Promo popup for the purpose: you can enable it in the Theme Settings > Shop page > Promo popup.
