Color variants, thumbnail product images, large product images not working.

Hello,

We have updated the WC and the website had many serious issues including the next page on the shop pages not working and the + – quantity buttons not working. We reverted back to a previous Woocommerce version as our client is review the website.

Additionally, the product thumbnails that are in a slider do not render correctly. We have set the product images to large and they rendered correctly and then stopped. Lastly, we are having issues understanding how to display the shop page images larger. They are 150px wide and we need them to be 250px.

The Color attribute does not seem to be working either.

1. Does it happen only with our theme or shop page pagination doesn’t work because of WooCommerce update?

2. +/- buttons are working correctly on your website for us. Please, clear your browser cache.

As we can see, everything is working correctly because you have reverted it back. All you need to do is to update all plugins and our theme to the latest version and clear your browser cache.

The reason it works is because we reverted it back to an older WC version.

Do you see the issues with the product thumbnails? There are many color variants and the thumbnails you can only see three because they are in a slider.

Do you use some additional plugin for product images? Could you try turn it off?

Ok I deactivated it and still nothing works. All the problems I listed above are happening. Are you seeing them?

The video you sent was a zoom effect for the product. Are you saying that is what is effecting the Product page?

Can you explain how we can get the catalog product images larger on the shop pages?

I deactivated the Yith plugin and got things to render correctly again.

How do we change the catalog image sizes? They are too small on our shop pages.

Our theme doesn’t include this icon. You can add it manually in the file inc/shortcodes.php. Function name – basel_shortcode_social.

Product images sizes can be changed in Woocommerce / Settings / Products / Display.

Yes, you can use our “Products” Visual Composer element and select only “Sale products”.

The product image on the product page is slightly less width then the thumbnail slider. How can we make the image the same width? Do we have to use a slider for the thumnbails?

You can increase single product image size in WooCommerce settings as well.

We are noticing no matter what width we change the product image to the slider below is still slightly wider when we have the theme set to Alternative and the Thumbnails Position is not selected. We do not like the arrows on the Horizontal option but when you select this the widths match.

Can you tell us why on mobile the product image is left aligned with space on the right? How do we remove this?

Why does the Specials page not have the ability to go to the next page?

Ideally we wanted to have a page where we can direct customers to scroll through all the current sale items. Similar to here: https://www.shinetrim.com/index.php?main_page=specials

You can select “Load more button” option for this Visual Composer element. Pagination links can work for the shop page only.

I do not see a place in the Visual composer for the element to select Load more button. Can you tell me where this is located please?

Firstly, you need to add our “Products (carousel or grid)” element. In this element options, you will find the pagination select.

Can you please tell me the settings for the product grids so they are all aligned? I keep on disabling the masonry feature but that does not seem to be working.

“Load more” button forces this element to use masonry since it doesn’t work without this script.

OK, we will try to change the way it works in our future updates.

I think the pagination for the product pages are really cool but not all users would know that is how you go to the next page. Hope the update for the Load More comes soon!
