    Hi,
    How to have a colored background, everywhere. Meaning no white. And in full width (no talking about boxed elements)
    Kind regards

    Hello,

    You can set the background color in the Theme Settings > Styles and colors.

    Besides the rows and columns also have the option to set the background color: https://wpbakery.com/video-academy/add-row-column-background-wpbakery-page-builder-wordpress/

    Hello,
    Background01 is the settings. Green to secure the stand-out
    Background02 is the output.
    So, do we talk about the same?
    The purpose is to have the full page background in a given color.
    As of now, it’s white.

    Hello,

    I cannot enter your site.

    Please add this code to the Theme Settings > Custom CSS > Global:

    body.single .main-page-wrapper {
    background:green;
    }

    Please set the color as per your needs.

    You need to configure the colors of the header and footer separately.

    Best Regards

    Hi There,
    Sorry, it does not work. It seems that there is something over-ruling it.
    Note that my staging does not have yet the updated version of the theme.
    It’s the same with part of the other color / style settings.
    Anyway, for sake of mutual understanding, let’s stick here on sole background, we’ll look at the rest later.

    Thanks in advance for your time

    Hello,

    If you want the whole page to have the color, you need to set the background color for the header and then set the single product color in the product page settings: https://prnt.sc/viv9p2

    Hi,
    As originally written, I’d like to have a colored background everywhere, 1 color.

    Like here, where the color is a kind of sand
    https://www.hermes.com/fr/fr/category/maison/textiles/#||Cat%C3%A9gorie

    Settings: I deliberately took different vivid colors to identify what does what. CSS background is on light blue, product background on purple, site background on green. See attached

    Impacts on the background of home page? None. See attached
    Impacts on shop page: none

    After, on on product: the top section is purple, yes, but all the rest stays white (description, box content, etc.)

    So, is it possible to have a colored background, with a unique color, everywhere?

    Kind regards

    Hello,

    Please add this code to the Theme Settings > Custom CSS > Global:

        background-color: #8224e3

    Hi There,
    sorry, coming back on the topic. Indeed, what you wrote does not work. More precisely, it changes the color background of single products, but the purpose is to have the same color background, everywhere.
    Normally, it should be achievable via general layout / Site background but this does not work.
    Are you sure that Basel is yet able to achieve a fully colored website, ie on pages, posts, products, etc?
    Kind regards

    Hello,

    Please provide the page URL and screen of the block you want to change. I will double-check

    Hi,
    Sorry, it’s a late topic. As I wrote, the purpose is not to change the color of given blocks, the latter is do-able and simple. The purpose is to have a colored background everywhere, in other words, replace the “white” by a given color. And that it’s effective on pages, articles, products, etc.
    Kind regards

    #271480

    Hello,

    You can set the color or image for the whole site in the Theme Settings > General layout.

    If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Hi,
    This is what I wrote just above: “Normally, it should be achievable via general layout / Site background but this does not work”.
    It does not work even when all plugins (but woocommerce) are desactivated
    Current settings:
    https://snipboard.io/rls4Wk.jpg
    I tried other settings, without any effect
    Kind regards

    It’s staging, you can change what you want there, no issue whatever happens.
    Thanks in advance

    Hello,

    Please check the screens: https://gyazo.com/9e965d36bd633ef7bb9b78b484f17a67 and https://prnt.sc/10fgq4d you need either to use a boxed layout or assign the color to all the blocks: header, content and keep the rows transparent.

    Hello,

    What I understand and/or see:
    – if the site width is restricted, ie boxed, then the sides are visible and the background of the sides are colored.
    – it’s clear that the blocks generated via editor can be colored.

    What I don’t understand:
    – Whithin say the boxed site (see image), there are white areas:
    * in shop: filter widgets, category description, space between images, the block with product short description, etc.
    * in blog: filter widgets, block with title and excerpt, spaces between blocks, etc.

    See:
    https://snipboard.io/eru85K.jpg

    When I talk about colored background, purpose is to have the whole white, everywhere, in a given color. If I remember correctly, you had, in the past, to option to choose white or black. For me, it’s not black, just another color

    Waiting for your feedback,
    Kind regards

    #271962

    Hello,

    Please add this code to the Theme Settings > Custom CSS > Global:

    .main-page-wrapper {
        background-image: url(http://web.net/wp-content/uploads/revslider/lookbook/slide-look-2.jpg) !important;
        background-position: 0 0 !important;
        background-repeat: no-repeat !important;
        background-color:transparent!important;
        background-size:cover!important;
    }

    Please insert your URL.

    In order to get the image background on other pages, make sure all the rows are transparent in the settings.

    Best Regards

    Hi,
    I don’t understand this answer.

    – I am talking about having a colored site, replace the usual white (#FFFFFF) is replaced by seashell (#FFF5EE), everywhere (.

    – you propose me to have an image background, and:
    1. this is not really my request
    2. it links nowhere; ‘The requested URL “http://web.net/wp-content/uploads/revslider/lookbook/slide-look-2.jpg” was not found on this server.
    2. I don’t think it’s right to have a permanent link for a background, all the more in the http (without s). for both safety and speed reason

    – even if it could be a way, I don’t see how I could get transparent widgets, transparent woocommenrce, etc.

    Did you confuse with another thread?

    Kind regards

    #272059

    Hello,

    I saw an image in the Theme Settings that is why I provided CSS for the image.

    If you want to have the color, use this code:

    .main-page-wrapper {
        background-color:#FFF5EE!important;
    }

    2. it links nowhere; ‘The requested URL “http://web.net/wp-content/uploads/revslider/lookbook/slide-look-2.jpg” was not found on this server. disregard that if you are going to use the color on the background, if you want to use an image, replace the URL with yours one.

    If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Best Regards
