Hello, I am new with woodmart and I am designing a fashion store. I d like to ask if it is possible to create one block of filters and apply this to all category pages I have made. On each category page the filter should display only the appropriate filters for this category. For example when I visit trousers category page the filters on the sidebar will display only trousers filters. I also have a page that will display ALL NEW products according to uploading date and will keep them there for 1 month. Is this possible?

    Hello,

Thank you very much for choosing our theme and for contacting us.

You can do that by means of the WOODMART WooCommerce Layered Nav this filer has the option to detect what category to appear at. You can find more information here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/widgets/

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Thanks for your quick response. Can you please help me a little more? As you can see in my project I have an horizontal menu on top (made with elementor) with some categories. How is it possible to choose a category on the menu and the page opens to display the appropriate products in the main area and the appropriate filters at the sidebar? I tried to create category pages with elementor but the design is different than the woodmart shop page and the filters are not working properly. What I really need for all pages is the same design of woodmart shop page with the appropriate content (products-filters). But I want each menu category page to behave as a stand alone page in elementor, in order to be able to create different ads and promo on each page.

Something I forgot to tell you and I thing is important is that trying to do all of the above, the choice in the WordPress dashboard Visit Store disappeared.

    Hello,

You can use custom filters: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/create-filters-form/

And you will need Product Grid widget to show products by category: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/product-grid-carousel-element/

The better and correct way is:

    1. Create product categories, assign them to the products.

    2. Recreate your main menu and add the product categories instead of the pages.

    3. Use WOODMART WooCommerce Layered Nav this filer has the option to detect what category to appear at. You can find more information here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/widgets/

Thanks a lot. One more relevant question. In product categories I include a category for new products (Whats New) and a category with Offers. Do I have to open Woocommerce categories for that and how am I going to assign products to these categories? Using labels maybe? Do I have to open attributes with the same name as categories name. Isnt better for menu and filters to have everything created as attributes? Whouldnt be better for later discount rules to use attributes also?

Sorry for the quantinty of my questions but customers has already started uploading and I want to avoid double work

    Thanks in advanced

    Hello,

Where are you going to show new products just in the default Woocommerce category? In this case, there is the option to set the “New” label in the product and set Woocommerce sorting by the most recent in Appearance > Customize > Product catalog > default sorting.

This manual contains instructions on adding a new label to the new products: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/product-page-options/#local_settings

If you want to show the products on any page, you can use the Product Grid / Carousel element https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/product-grid-carousel-element/

    Thanks for your response,

I have sent the link to see. Can you please visit it. On the main menu I have 2 categories Whats New and Offers. There I want to add New Products and Offers to apropriate category.
I use Elementor and I see that most of the documentation is based on wp-bakery. Is there any documentation for elementor? Do I have the same choices in elementor?

    #315179

    Hello,

All the elements that are presented in WP bakery page builder also provided in Elementor: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/shortcodes-2/

You can use the Product Grid widget from Elementor for this purpose.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

    Hello,

Please make sure your Woocommerce has been activated and all the functional pages exist.

You can restore the functional Woocommerce pages in the Woocommerce > State > Status.

Hello again and thanks for the help in all of my queries.
I d’like to ask something about clothing sizes. My customers wants the visitor to select from a specific block of sizes filters and in the product page the option for sizes to be in the appropriate country. In practice when someone chooses S(small) it will display clothes list of small size and when he opens a products the size variations in the product will be for this product only for example S (US) M (US) etc. They showed me a mechanism that works in this eshop https://www.net-a-porter.com/en-gr/shop/clothing and they want something like this. Can you please suggest a solution?

    #316878

    Hello,

By default, Wooocommerce does not have the option. You will have to create a different set of attributes for each size type or try to find the plugin.

Or just consider the option of the size guide. Find our documentation tutorial about this here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/create-size-guide-table/

You can create the attribute size, with s l m and so on, however you can create the size guide and assign it to a category or each product.

    First of all I want to thank you again for your help. I really appreciate it. However I have tried many things in order to recover the Visit Store Option in the Dashboard, with no luck. Can you please advice me any other option;

I have also received a message from wordpress for a legacy widget but I cant find it. Here is the message “Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email. In this case, WordPress caught an error with your theme, Woodmart.”

    Thanks in advanced

    Hello,

Please clarify which option you mean? Where did you see it? Do you mean “Return to shop”?

You provided limited access and I cannot get to the admin panel. Please provide admin rights for the user and more details on how to see or reproduce the problem.

    Hello,

You have set one and the same page as the Home page and the Shop page: https://gyazo.com/7bd7d769a4d979e2659cac3189759bd2

Create different pages and the option to view the store would be back.

As for the second issue, please provide the content of the email and the error it shows in the private area.

    Best Regards
