marinereliquetParticipantHi,
My client hasn’t not make any updates in a long time. Yesterday she tried to update the theme, plugins and wordpress version. She now is facing a critical error which seem to be generated by Template Library and Redux Framework module.
Here is the email she got from wordpress with the error details (it was received in French but I translated it):
WordPress version 5.9.2
Current theme: Basel Child (version 1.0.0)
Current plugin: Template Library and Redux Framework (version 4.3.12)
PHP version 7.3.32Error details
======================
Une erreur de type E_ERROR a été causée dans la ligne 671 du fichier /home/gustavee/wordpress_www/wp-content/plugins/redux-framework/redux-core/framework.php. #5 /home/gustavee/wordpress_www/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(331): WP_Hook-We tried deactivating the plugin but all the customization got lost (logo, colors, fonts, etc.).
Right now the website works but the homepage has bugs (navbar only clickable after scrolling, hero banner has disappeared, Product category mansonry grid is messed up).
We have a very small knowledge of coding. Could you help us fix this?
Thank you!

marinereliquetParticipantSorry, “Basel Child” is the child theme that our developer made to preserve our custom design changes. Our parent theme is Basel 4.5.0

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
I would recommend you to arrange a staging site and install a new WordPress installation.
Install the theme and upload the demo (if you want demo) then, recreate the header in the Theme settings > Header.
Then recreate or migrate the footer and all the widgets area. As soon as you finish the site configuration, delete all the demos, and import-export the content from your live site.
Finally, you can add the other plugins from the live site one by one by checking the site. Then as soon as the site is ready you can move it to the live site.
Updating the theme in the live site would crash part of the site and you will have to recreate some parts of the site in any case.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
Best Regards
