Crop gallery images on product detail

Hi XTemos,

I want to crop the gallery images by hooks as is shown in the WooCommerce documentation: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/image-sizes-theme-developers/

But this is not working. Is this somehow overwrited by the theme settings?

How can this be done?

I followed these instructions, but it’s not answering my question. It’s not possible to crop gallery images in the theme settings. So I tried to change the image sizes by hooks as it’s mentioned on the documentation by WooCommerce. But it’s not working.

My question was:
Is this somehow overwrited by the theme settings?

How can this be done?

Hello,

Basically the product images are controlled by woocommerce and our theme doesn’t influence this. WooCommerce Allows some settings that you can find under Appearance >> Customize >> WooCommerce >> Product Images.

You can try setting the images sizes and crop according to your needs.

And for the hooks not working please check how it works with the default wordpress theme just to check whether the issue is with our theme or not.

Because the images and cropping are woocommerce functionality and our theme doesn’t influence.
