Custom tab on Product page

Hi
i created a custom tab
but not sure how it works
it seems i can only provide a title and description that will appear on all products on this custom tab
is that right ?
i was wondering if it creates a custom field on every product page that i can fill for every product so different content appear in that custom tab ?
or do i have to use ACF to show a new custom field (for instance : “Ingredients”)
please explain

You can create a custom tab and set the condition for a specific product ID by following this guide:

Additionally, you can also add product-specific tabs manually:

• Go to Products > Edit Product.
• Scroll down to Product Settings > Tabs.
• There, you can create and customize tabs specifically for that individual product.

Hello,

You can also display a custom tab for specific products only — it doesn’t have to appear on all products.
When you create or edit a Custom Tab in WooCommerce > Custom Tabs.

1. Condition Type: Single product ID
2. Condition Query: Select the specific product(s) where you want this tab to appear.

This way, you can create unique tabs for individual products without needing to use ACF.

If you need different content for several products, you can create multiple custom tabs with different conditions for each one.

so you confirm that if i need to add a custom information different on every product

then i have to use ACF

or i have to create a different custom field for every product and apply it to every product : but this method is quite heavy, ACF is simpler to use

Yes, If you want to add unique information for every product, like custom fields, then you can use the ACF plugin for this. WoodMart theme is compatible with the ACF plugin; you can use it to add extra fields to a single product.
