    Hi Guys,

Loving Basel so far! Best shop theme I think I’ve ever used! 🙂

Just having some issues with the menu.. I installed the theme and standard basel demo content. The menu items I have are Home, Shop, Blog which were installed automatically I belive. The blog menu item looks similar to this: http://c2n.me/3CTdEIC.png but I have no idea how to edit the text, normally under the menu you have various items you can edit or remove but there’s nothing under this one?

I just can’t see how I can tweak these items..? My menu structure looks like this: http://c2n.me/3CTe1yf.png

Also, I really like the design of this menu section: http://c2n.me/3CTdKvu.jpg and would love to know how to add an image in a similar way.

    Sorry if I’m missing something!

    Jay

    Hello there,

Thank you so much for purchasing our theme. Hope you have fun creating your web-site with Basel.

    1. These menu items are created via HTML Blocks. So you can edit these mega menu dropdowns in admin panel -> HTML Blocks with Visual Composer. But firstly, you need to activate Visual Composer for this post type in admin panel -> Visual Composer -> Role manager -> Post types -> choose custom and select all types.

    2. You can simply add your links to your menu item in the same hierarchy that you can see on our demo (Elements menu item). Then just configure this item as shown on the screenshot

    Regards

    Hi Xtemos,

Thanks for all the help – lovin’ the html blocks, really easy to use along with Visual Composer.

    Thanks again,
    Jay
