Discount % label on shop page isn’t correct with wholesale prices

Dear,

If I’m correct, there is no “discount percentage” displayed by default on the WooCommerce Shop/Product pages. Those are added by WoodMart, right?

If that’s correct, then there is a problem of compatibility with the plugin WooCommerce Wholesale Prices (https://fr.wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-wholesale-prices/)

1) When the user is a simple retail user, no problem the label displays the correct discount percentage. So for instance, if the price is 100€ and the discount price is 90€, then we correctly see 10% discount.

2) When the user is a wholesale user, then we have a problem in the discount percentage. So for instance, if the wholesale price is 80 € and and the discount wholesale price is 70 €, we still see 10% discount in the label.

So basically the WoodMart discount label fails to take the prices from the wholesale, even tough all the prices are correctly passed through WooCommerce Shop Pages, Product Pages, Car and Checkout Pages, and Orders backend. Can you help on this?

Staging provided below with parent them, no customizations, and minimal install.

Yes, the percentage label is calculated based on the WooCommerce sale price. It doesn’t take into account any other prices that come with extra plugins like WooCommerce Wholesale Prices. This is why the discount percentage displayed does not reflect the wholesale prices.

Ok but your answer doesn’t really help. You’re simply acknowledging that your theme isn’t capable of being compatible with wholesale plugins, despite that those prices are properly passed through WooCommerce.

I’ve contacted the support of the Wholesale Plugin and they said they can’t do anything because (1) the label is from WoodMart (2) there is no label on default theme and (3) they’re passing the price correctly through all the WooCommerce pages.

So can you please have a deeper look and check why the discount calculation is not correct? I gave you access to a staging, you can check and analyze please.

We understand your concern, but unfortunately, there is no workaround for this issue at the moment. The feature is not compatible with the WooCommerce Wholesale Prices plugin, and we don’t have a fix for it currently. The discount percentage label is calculated based on the default WooCommerce sale price, and it does not take into account the prices provided by additional plugins.
