Display subcategories under product categories element

Hello, i want to display all subcategories of selected category instead of products count under product categories element in home page of demo furniture.
I am attaching an image to understand.

Unfortunately, there is no option to show the subcategories in the Product Categories carousel.

Perhaps it is possible to create such a grid manually and insert to the Pagebal container + Extra menu list https://prnt.sc/xq5c1b
