vakhtang_11ParticipantHi,
I attributed ALL products in this category to few different categories (living rooms, beds, tables and etc.).
http://www.eden4u.co.il/?product_cat=mebin-magandatoday as I see, only 17 products belong to different categories.
all other changes rescinded.hosting service said it’s not their problem.
why it could happen? before few days I installed new versions of
1.WooCommerce
2.WoodMartenough great job annuled.
your opinion?
January 13, 2020 at 10:54 am #167668Hello,
You mean that you assigned more than 17 products to different categories but now only 17 were assigned and other products are assigned to none of the category.
When I visited the page which your provided “www.eden4u.co.il/?product_cat=mebin-maganda”.It display more than 17 products inside that category “mebin-maganda”.
Also the product category is a part of default WooCommerce functionality and our theme does not influence this so you can also test this behaviour with some default theme.
Best Regards.

vakhtang_11Participanthere 52 products:
http://www.eden4u.co.il/?product_cat=mebin-magandaall of them were assigned to more than 1 category.
now I see only 17 products assigned normally. these changed were made for 10 last days.
so to say all new changes rescinded.you think it’s problem of WooCommerce new version?
January 13, 2020 at 1:59 pm #167701Hello,
When I visit your provided URL it display almost 54 products here “http://www.eden4u.co.il/?product_cat=mebin-maganda”
If you see 17 products then it means it’s just the cache issue. Because at my end 54 products shown with the pagination of 2 pages.
Video for clarification: https://jmp.sh/lfub7Ki
New version of WooCommerce is not the cause of this issue. Because it seems its you cache which did not show all the products on your side. No matter if a product is assigned to only one category or multiple categories, It will display in all those categories which are checked from the category list for that specific product.
Best Regards.

because today we once again assigned products to categories. by morning was other.cache plugin may be reason for problem like this (that changes disappear)?
January 13, 2020 at 2:24 pm #167706Hello,
What do you want exactly? How many products you assigned to that category by this morning?
The number of products shown greater or less than your assigned products in front end? And how many products shown at your end. Kindly describe your issue in detail so I can help you accordingly.
Best Regards.

vakhtang_11ParticipantHello,
before few days employee assigned ALL 52 products to FEW categories.today by morning I saw first 17 products (meb-mag-001 — meb-mag-017) assigned to FEW categories, and all other only to one category (like it was before one month).
Hope, explained. thx
it may be problem of server? or cache plugin? I can’t understand what’s reason for dissappering and appearing of changes

vakhtang_11Participantweird, also here now all is ok
http://www.eden4u.co.il/?product=mebin-afrodytaby morning same problem was here (only one category instead few).
I asked people of hosting company – they say it can’t be problem of server. first time meet this problem.January 14, 2020 at 6:03 am #167785Hello,
Yes that might be a cache problem. Or might be some third party plugin conflicts with the default WooCommerce functionality because this is also not our theme issue.
This is also possible that you have multiple persons who can access your admin dashboard and they manually assigned those products to different categories.
Best Regards.

Do you intend to cache plugin? or other cache problem of server?thank you
January 14, 2020 at 12:07 pm #167850Hello,
Yes, this might due to cache. You can try Wp-Super cache or Wp-Rocket plugin for this purpose.
Best Regards.
