For site architecture reasons, in principle I will use a domain and a subdomain or subfolder, can I use this without a problem?

domain.com and sub.domain.com

Yes, you can use the theme on your subdomain if it is a part of the main website with the same brand name. Note that you will be able to activate the theme on one website only. So you will need to update the subdomain manually. Or you can activate is a development domain.
We are still analyzing it, but the intention is to create the institutional website and the subdomain would be the company’s catalog in order to separate the institutional website and blog from the catalog….
