bogdan-mihaiParticipantHello!
We have a problem with Facebook & Google login, where it completes the login process and redirects to the site, with a notification that You are now logged in as, but the user is not logged in, the account is not created and no username appears after You are now logged in as.
We have tested this with both Facebook and Google in testing mode and it worked, but after we switched to the live version it stopped working.
I’ve left the link to the site in the Private Content, but I’ve deactivated the social login for now, as the site is live.
Any thoughts on what could cause this?
Thank you and all the best,
BogdanAttachments:

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
I am checking your site and now I do not see options to login with Google and Facebook.
Please follow this instruction to configure: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/configure-facebook-login/ and https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/configure-google-login/
As soon as you configure, please provide your site admin access to the private area I will test and suggest if everything is working properly.
Best Regards

bogdan-mihaiParticipantHi Elise,
Thank you for your reply.
As I was mentioning above, the social login is now disabled as this is a live site, so I can’t leave it active if it’s not working. I have done the setup for both Facebook & Google.
I have activated it now so that you can test it.
I can provide admin login, but keep in mind that the site is live, so please let me know before if you have to make changes.
Thanks again and all the best,

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Our dev team has checked and says that there is a custom code: http://prntscr.com/11ac1nf this code adds the condition preventing Facebook and Google from working properly.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

bogdan-mihaiParticipantHi Elise,
Thanks for your answer!
This doesn’t look like code added by us. In which file is it added? And any idea what it does?
All the best,
BogdanApril 12, 2021 at 3:43 pm #282032
Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, If the problem has gone, activate the plugins one by one, checking the issue to detect which one causes the problem.
Best Regards

bogdan-mihaiParticipantHello again! 🙂
Sorry to be reopening this ticket after such a long while – we had a lot to take care of that was higher priority.
We did manage to fix the Facebook login issue – it was related to a code snippet needed for password confirmation.
However, for Google login we couldn’t identify any possible issue with a plugin. We updated everything, including the theme, but the issue persists.
What could we further check here in order to find the cause?
Thank you and all the best,
BogdanPS: Login info should still work, but please keep in mind that site is live.
