Feature expecting te be IMPROVED or FIXED: Product list variation doesn’t show

Product list variation only shows when I ” Creat variatons from attibutes”, in Product data→Variations. Most of time we don’t need to creat all, for example, we only creat some colors, no need to creat variations for each size. please check attached. expecting to be solved in future theme updating. thank you in advance.

no no you didn’t read my topic carefully, I know how to set variation and swatch and I set it successfully. I mean the problem happens in prodcut list variation , or “PRODUCTS GRID”, please read my topic and screenshot again , thanks
