Filter search results

Is there a way to exclude some categories from the search results/search pop-up? There’s an easy way to do this in Woocommerce (https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/exclude-a-category-from-the-shop-page/) via functions, but this has no effect in the search function.

Sorry, but there is no such feature in our theme and it doesn’t depend on Basel at all. You can hide only specific products from the search result using “Visibility” option while editing the product in the Dashboard.
