filters

hi, i have a question regarding filters. How can i add an extra filter attribute on categories,products etc?
e.g on https://kourtakis-lighting.gr/product-category/fotistika-epaggelmatika/fotistika-epagelmatikos-fotisimos-downlights-panel-led-architektonikos-fotismos-stores-lighting-recessed-lights/
how do i add an extra filter e.g colour? https://i.imgur.com/rJIkjup.png
is it setup somewhere generally or do i need to add a shortcode e.g on the specific category ?
