Footer background colour not changing

Hello,

I am trying to change the background colour of the footer, however, it won’t let me change it. No matter what colour I select, the footer background colour still stays white. It doesn’t matter if I use widgets or an html block, it doesn’t work for either setting. I’ve also disabled all but the required plugins and that doesn’t help either. I’ve attached my log in details in the private section. Are you able to help me solve this problem?

Hi Elise,

I have already tried changing the background colour of the HTML block. It only changes the colour of the content section and not the surrounding areas. The surroundings areas are still white as seen in my screenshot. How do I make the entire area the same colour, not just the content section of the HTML block? For your information, even if I change it from HTML block to HTML widgets, the colour still doesn’t change. How do I fix this problem?
